Homemade Exfoliating Mask With Cosmetic Bran

If you would like a cheap skin care mask, then look no further than cosmetic bran. I can guarantee you that you will end up with a baby soft skin at the end. Cosmetic bran is an old method of women to take care of their skin. While mostly it is used in homemade exfoliating masks, it can be used in other types of masks as well.

Cosmetic bran it refers to finely ground chestnuts, rice, oatmeal, peach pits and others. While you can ground it yourself, you can buy if food store ready made cosmetic or toilet bran. It costs very little, so the price should not be an impediment actually masks with bran are very cheap to made compared with other cosmetic masks.

These masks used for exfoliating are very good for persons suffering from skin problems such as acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and generally very clogged pores. You can even apply them on your body such as chest or back, if you have pimples.

The simplest way to use cosmetic bran as an exfoliating mask is to mix it with water until resembles a paste. Now, I prefer to gently massage my face skin with it for one minutes, then rinse with warm water. Others may just spread onto their face and let it for few minutes, then wash.

Using natural cosmetic bran for exfoliating is better and much more gentle than many exfoliating masks that you can purchase. You know that they are chemical free. If you have rosacea or other skin condition, then you should avoid such skin care treatments because they are too harsh for sensitive skin.

You can make facial masks from cosmetic bran as well. One such mask that I like to use and it is very good for combined skin type is mixing oatmeal grounds with egg yolks until you have a consistent paste, then apply it on your face and leave it for few minutes. If you keep it too long you may notice your skin getting shrunk, so do not leave it too long. After washing your face, apply a rich face moisturizer.
